Technical and linguistic Reviewing
Reviewing a technical translation occurs in two
steps:
The first is the technical review in order to make sure that the
translator followed the glossary
provided by the client and used the correct branch-specific terms;
and the second step is the linguistic review to control and if necessary
correct style, orthography and syntax.
The reviewer should also verify that the layout is in conformity
with the layout of the source text (regarding titles, indentation,
bulleted lists, and so on).
